Unharnessed Pride Climbing Club

The Unharnessed Pride Climbing Club is dedicated to diversity and fostering the LGBT+ climbing community. Established in the Spring of 2021, the club emerged from a recognized need for a queer climbing space in the Atlanta community.

Our humble beginnings saw 8 individuals attending the first meetup, and now we boast a membership of over 80 individuals who regularly join us for monthly meetups across the Metro Atlanta area and New York City as of January 2026. We also organize occasional outdoor trips, where all skill levels are welcome. Don't have gear? No worries! We can provide equipment for you to use. Join us as we climb together and build a supportive community.
