Unharnessed Pride Climbing Club
LGBT+ and Allies climbing club in Atlanta, GA
The Unharnessed Pride Climbing Club is dedicated to diversity and fostering the LGBT+ climbing community in Atlanta. We gather on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 7pm-9pm at the Overlook Bouldering and Fitness, and on the 4th Thursdays at Central Rock Gym locations inside the perimeter. Established in the Spring of 2021, the club emerged from a recognized need for a queer climbing space in the Atlanta community.
Our humble beginnings saw 8 individuals attending the first meetup, and now we boast a membership of over 60 individuals who regularly join us for monthly meetups across the Metro Atlanta area. We also organize occasional outdoor trips, where all skill levels are welcome. Don't have gear? No worries! We can provide equipment for you to use. Join us as we climb together and build a supportive community.
